The decision to take flight.

The decision to take flight.

Someday, one day, you will see the truth.

One day, someday, you will notice the wings at your back.

That day, oh that day, will be your day to fly.

For one day, someday the song within will break free.

You will see that all those days you lay trapped in your cell,

the way out was bound to your wrist.

You heard the pain, and you closed your ears because know one taught you to listen.

You heard the pain, and you closed your ears because know one taught you to listen.

Someday, one day the angel will come cloaked in disguise.

She will see through your eyes, the light that you hide.

You will laugh and feel free, the gaze undeniably sweet.

But you signed the deal, the promise of nothing solid and nothing permanent.

And you know that soon you will loose sight of the angel and be left to your cell.

Till you look at your bondage, and you bow to the magnitude of this great gift.

Holding you back from flight as helped you realize that flight was indeed possible.

Your tears wet your smile, you feel happy with nothing.

The bondage releases, and you know that some day, that one day, is this day.

You shutter, as the energy shatters your hardness, and the light blisters through all your scars.

You weep in the arms of grace, knowing today what gratitude is.

You stretch your angel wings, it was your eyes you saw.

Kneeling in pure humility you receive the gift of flight.
